Seek Healing for Yourself and Your Loved Ones by Your Own Higher Self…
~Bonnie Elizabeth
Today, after yoga, I took my friend “J” with me to grab coffee before all of us yoga friends were to meet up at the local beach park for a monthly sound healing our friend was putting on for free.
Along the way from the coffee shop, I stopped by to grab my friend “R”, who’s almost completely blind. Together, myself, “J” and “R” and his guide dog “Gidget”, headed to the park for an hour long sound healing.
Afterwards, I walked with my friend “R” to the local brewery to grab a taco. As we were sitting down, “R” accidently put his guide dog harness on the table and spilled his water. A sweet gentleman sitting nearby, saw this, and offered to grab “R” another water, and came back to ask him questions about what it’s like to be blind and how long he’s been blind. It’s been “6 years”. For “R” it was a good change, in that he now has a job helping teach braille and retired from an engineering job in the Navy, in which he found no real joy.
The reason why this sweet gentleman wanted to know more, was because his own dad is going blind with many eye issues, but he lived all the way in Arkansas, and this gentleman is local in Imperial Beach, CA.
So, this prompted me to mention to the gentleman about the possibility of doing a surrogate healing for his dad-if he was interested in helping with the healing.
Do I have friends and patients that are sick or have diseases? Absolutely. Can most anyone be healed in a session? Absolutely. So why don’t I ‘fix’ or ‘heal’ everyone I know? It’s a CHOICE to heal. It’s called free will. I can’t make someone choose to have a session anymore than you can force someone to do something they aren’t ready to do. As a longtime cowgirl, the saying goes, “you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make them drink.” Often times, one’s illness has been around a very long time, and to heal that, would mean a complete change of a way of life for them. Not everyone can handle a completely different way of living. Being sick has become their life. It has become their identity. All I can do is love and support them, and offer to be here if they ever choose to have their own session done.
But today, reminded me of the importance of offering surrogate healing. Some family may be too sick or too far away to come in for a session. In this case, someone local and healthy may be a surrogate for that healing through their own Higher Self helping us.
In a recent session, my client asked for healing for her friend “N” who has been having chest pain off and on. I asked my client’s Higher Self, “can you help ‘N’ with this” and she agreed that she could. I asked what ‘N’ will feel as she was working on her, and she said, “warmth in her chest”. So after our session, my client called her friend ‘N’, and asked if she had felt any different, and according to my client ‘N’ did infact feel free of pain, and experienced a warming sensation. During this same session, I had asked before beginning, if my client (also a fellow practitioner and friend), could assist me with healing my left side, since I’d had to post pone our session the day before due to feeling bad. She agreed. So, when I asked her Higher Self if she could tell me what’s going on with my left side, she replied, “let me go inside and look.” To which, I agreed. She then told me, “it’s from a block. You work too much and you need to be kinder to yourself and love yourself more. I can release it now and you’ll feel better instantly.” Wouldn’t you know I absolutely did feel 100% healed of that left side pain?! And…I’ve since decided to do healthcare part-time, and focus on this new path that I’m on…What better person to advocate for your healing, than someone that understands both the spiritual side of it, and the science side. I’ve been on both sides of it, and I’d much rather prefer the instantaneous healing that the Spiritual side can offer with the assistance of your very loving Higher Self.
